A recent Netflix survey reveals that 58% of people consider their pets the ideal binge-watching partners for TV shows and movies.
Unlike human companions who might grab the remote or critique your choices, pets offer judgment-free company. They provide cozy cuddles— one in three respondents sought comfort from their pets during emotional scenes—and spark one-sided chats, with 22% confessing to discussing plot twists with their animals.
That said, bingeing with pets isn't without challenges. Over a third (37%) have shifted positions for their pet's comfort, 22% have doled out treats to extend sessions, and 12% have even powered off the TV when their pet seemed uninterested.
