Another 28% shower their pets with extra attention, while just 12% mark the day without any fanfare. Dog owners prove especially generous, with 68% gifting their pups compared to 52% of cat owners. On average, dog owners spend €12.50, while cat owners spend €7.50.
What are the most popular gifts for your four-legged friend? Treats top the list at 55%, including snacks and special meals. Toys come in at 30%, and 15% opt for items that benefit both pet and owner, like stylish litter boxes or trendy leashes.
