Pet Owners Treat Furry Friends Like Family: New Study on Health, Wellness, and Spending

Most pet owners view their dogs and cats as cherished family members, and they're ready to invest more in their health, wellness, and pampering. According to a recent study, 79% of dog owners and 77% of cat owners consider their pets part of the family—especially as pets age.

Pet parents also recognize the mutual benefits of companionship. The survey reveals that 85% of dog owners and 82% of cat owners say their pets positively impact their mental health, while 80% of dog owners and 74% of cat owners report benefits to their physical well-being.

It's no wonder owners spoil their pets: 77% of dog owners and 68% of cat owners love buying pampering products, with 43% preferring to spend on pet toys and treats over personal items.
